Notice to the Bar and Public Implementing Electronic Proof of Claim Filings Through ePOC Module
UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT
DISTRICT OF NEW JERSEY
NOTICE TO THE BAR AND PUBLIC IMPLEMENTING
ELECTRONIC PROOF OF CLAIM FILINGS THROUGH ePOC MODULE
Notice is hereby given that, effective March 20, 2020, the court will permit the filing of proofs of claim and amended proofs of claim through the electronic proof of claim (“ePOC”) module.
Proofs of claim submitted through the ePOC module allow for more expedient processing and, therefore, parties are strongly encouraged to file their proof(s) of claim utilizing this method.
The ePOC module is available to all claim filers and includes the following notable features:
- A PACER login is not required;
- Official Form 410 Proof of Claim in PDF format is not required to be completed;
- Completing the steps in the module will create a PDF form and file the claim on the Claims Register;
- As with traditional claim filing through CM/ECF, the ePOC module allows any necessary attachments to be uploaded.
A link to the ePOC module is available on the court’s website, www.njb.uscourts.gov.
Until further notice, claims may continue to be filed through CM/ECF with a PACER login or through the ePOC module.
